Ashoka University has partnerships with several well-known universities across the globe. With these partners Ashoka has ongoing faculty visits for teaching, student mobility (outbound and inbound), research collaboration, short-term study opportunities, as well as joint programmes. Under the aegis of the Faculty Exchange Programme between Ashoka University & Amherst College, the first Ashoka faculty, Asst. Professor Maya Saran, visited Amherst in April 2022. She was selected by a faculty committee in 2020 but due to the Covid pandemic was not able to travel until this spring.

Boston University is another destination for Ashoka students to apply for exciting summer courses. Ashoka students receive partner benefits when participating in the programs.

Ashoka University signed its first articulation agreement with Clark University, USA that opens opportunities for Ashoka students to apply for graduate programs at Clark University with certain benefits, such as a streamlined admission process and financial advantages.

Connecticut College

Connecticut College

The Office of Global Education and Strategic Programmes (GESP) at Ashoka University has entered an MoU and Student Exchange Agreement with Connecticut College, New London, CT, USA. The collaboration between the two institutions will enable bilateral student exchange of undergraduate students between the two campus for a semester or a year beginning with the fall of 2021-22 academic year.

Cornell University

Ashoka University signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA, which provides a broad framework for cooperative programmes between the two universities. It seeks to facilitate international academic exchange, develop scientific relationships, support collaborative research activities and develop student exchange and related programmes in separate project agreements

ENS Lyon

ENS Lyon

ENS Lyon and Ashoka University signed an agreement to facilitate research collaboration and student exchanges. This will allow Ashoka to host ENS Lyon students and Ashoka UG & masters students will have the opportunity to apply for a student exchange at ENS Lyon

Ghent University

Ghent University

Ashoka University signed an MoU with Ghent University Faculty of Arts and Philosophy, with the intention to promote educational and academic exchanges which will facilitate exchange of students and faculty. The exchange will start in Fall 2023 with visits from UGent faculty members

HEC Paris

Doing a summer course in Corporate Finance at HEC Paris was the highlight of my year. It not only gave me practical knowledge of finance from one of the best professors around the globe but also gave me the opportunity to collaborate with individuals from diverse nationalities and different walks of life. Ashoka University signed a collaboration agreement with IE University in Spain to foster joint research, collaborative initiatives in IR and student exchanges. Student exchanges to be initiated in Fall 2024

Johns Hopkins University

Johns Hopkins University

Ashoka University and John Hopkins University signed a MoU in 2022 to foster research collaborations.Ashoka University and the Gupta-Klinsky India Institute at John Hopkins (GKII) jointly launched the Breakthrough research grant programme in 2023. The program aims to foster collaborative opportunities among researchers from both organizations.The current research grant is focused on health data research. The research grant is designed to fund and support interdisciplinary pilot projects that involve interdisciplinary collaborations.

Ashoka University and Lingnan University entered into an agreement with the intention to promote academic and research exchanges along with a student exchange agreement. Student exchange will start from Fall 2024.

Ashoka University signed a partnership agreement with University of Groningen for research and academic exchanges in the areas of energy transition, digital innovation, climate adaptation, astronomy and astrophysics, materials science, sociology, economics, chemistry and archaeology

Ashoka University signed an agreement with University of Massachusetts Amherst, (UMA) to establish an academic exchange of students between the two universities. This covers collaboration and exchange for all students, including graduate students, faculty and administrators from both universities.

In its first MoU with an Australian institute, Ashoka University has cemented its relationship with University of Melbourne (UoM) to promote collaborative research, student and faculty exchange. Ashoka University, represented by Pro Vice-Chancellor, Mr. Rajesh Garodia and University of Melbourne, represented by Deputy Associate Dean (International – India) Dr. Dolly Kikon inked the MoU in September 2022

Ashoka students are eligible to participate in UZH International Summer Schools (started in Summer 2022) and semester exchanges will start from Spring 2023.
