Aashna Anandani

Born and raised in New Delhi, Aashna has an affinity towards vocal and instrumental music. She has a bachelors in Indian classical Kathak and is pursuing her masters in Kathak from Bhatkhande Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya. Having been singing since the age of seven, she aspires to amalgamate her passion for creative arts with her discipline in psychology and expand the microcosm of Expressive Arts Therapy. Aashna is a mental health advocate and LGBTQAI+ ally and believes in women’s empowerment. Aashna has a predilection towards self-help books and is always up for an intriguing conversation. Through the YIF, she hopes to become the best version of herself, connect with the diverse Ashoka family, and discover her innate self.
