Abha Tiwari

Abha Tiwari is currently engaged as Project Manager for various inter-institutional collaborative clinical research projects, like AMR, cancer, life-style related diseases etc. of Biology at Ashoka University. Additionally, she is involved as project manager in APSI (Alliance for Pathogen Surveillance Innovations) – India project as a part of Delhi Cluster research plan under Rockefeller Pandemic Prevention Initiative. She works at the interface of Ashoka and crucial health partners such as Max Healthcare network across Delhi-NCR region which involves liaising between both partners, organizing meetings, performing data collection, drafting reports, arranging sample movements, including clearances and approvals.

Abha holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) as her highest academic credential. Following her M. Pharm, she worked as research associate in Macleods Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Mumbai for two years. She is also a Registered Pharmacist. Before joining Ashoka, she worked as lab Manager/Research Tech III in Molecular and Human Genetics Department, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, where she was actively involved in multiple research projects, focusing on mitochondrial metabolic pathways and exploring other novel approaches to target TNBC. She is also equipped with general molecular and cell biology techniques.
