Adam Klein is the author of the Lambda Book Award-nominee The Medicine Burns (High Risk Books) and the novel, Tiny Ladies (Serpent’s Tail). He is the editor of the anthologies, The Gifts of the State: New Writing From Afghanistan (Dzanc Books). He co-authored the artist monograph Jerome: After the Pageant. His writing has appeared in BOMB; StoryQuarterly; FOLIO; Fiction International; Subtropics; The New York Times; MIT’s Performance Art Journal and elsewhere; as well as the anthologies: Best American Gay Fiction (Little, Brown); Men on Men 5 (Penguin/Plume); Life Sentences; California Prose Directory 2016.
