Adam Klein is the author of the Lambda Book Award-nominee The Medicine Burns and the novel, Tiny Ladies. He is the editor of The Gifts of the State: New Writing from Afghanistan and co-author of the artist monograph Jerome: After the Pageant. His writing has appeared in BOMB; Subtropics; Evergreen Review; Fiction International; Pank; Hobart; Ninth Letter; Electric Literature; Public Books; The New York Times At War Blog. He is a graduate of The New School MFA writing program where he studied with James Lasdun, Sigrid Nunez, and Honor Moore.
