Aditya Ghosh, business leader and Co-Founder of Akasa Air, is an alumnus of the Faculty of Law, Delhi University, and the Advanced Management Program of the Harvard Business School. Formerly, he was the President & Wholetime Director of IndiGo for ten years where he was instrumental in making it the largest and most profitable airline in India. He has also worked as the CEO for OYO Hotels and Homes South Asia.
Currently, Mr Ghosh is a Member of the Board of Directors at FabIndia Group, OYO Hotels & Homes, GreenCell Mobility, a pan-India shared electric mobility player, and an Independent Director at Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) International Airport. He is also the Chairperson of the Social Enterprise Central body of SEWA, a member-based organisation of poor self-employed women from the unorganised sector. Mr Ghosh is a Member of the CII National Committee & Co-Chairman of CII National Committee on Skill Development and Livelihood, focusing on key areas such as increasing employment and employability, creating an inclusive workforce, policy advocacy, job creation and entrepreneurship and international mobility of skilled Indians.
