Afshana joined CDO, Ashoka University in 2022 as an Assistant Manager, Student Engagement. Prior to this, she did her Master’s in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Sociology and Anthropology as well as Political Science. Her research interests lie around Shia Muslims in Kashmir. Along with being a TA for four courses during her Master’s programme, she did her Research Practicum at TCPD, Ashoka University. She was a YIF 2021.
She is a graduate of Kashmir University where she majored in Political Science and Psychology. She is a learner herself and is stirred to make the learning journey of students easier.
