A distinguished corporate attorney and a qualified chartered accountant. he has over 35 years of experience advising domestic and international corporates and their promoters in a wide area of transactional, litigation, and compliance needs. This includes regulatory compliant and tax-efficient India entry and operating models and cross border investment. Mr Bahl also advises companies, promoters, Boards, and audit firms on various aspects of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, group restructuring, investigations pertaining to corruption and bribery, accounting fraud, competition and anti-trust, succession planning, and other business aspects that require a compliant, practical and holistic legal analysis. He also mentors the tax practice at AZB & Partners. He has served as an independent expert on behalf of the Government of India on matters of accounting and tax issues before the International Court of Justice at the Hague. He has served and currently serves as an expert member on various committees constituted by the Government of India, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and other bodies.
