Senior Advocate and Chartered Accountant
Ajay Vohra is a qualified chartered accountant and lawyer and has been practicing since the last 41 years in the area of domestic and international tax. He is a leading arguing counsel before Tax Tribunals, High Courts, and the Supreme Court. His practice and involvement in several complex cases has contributed immensely to the tax jurisprudence in the country.
Prior to being designated as Senior Advocate by the Delhi High Court in September 2014, Ajay was the Managing Partner of Vaish Associates Advocates, a leading law firm, from 2006 to 2014.
He has been rated as one of the “most highly acclaimed legal experts in the Asia-Pacific region” in the field of Taxation by Asialaw Leading Lawyers Guide for each of the years from 2006 to 2014, prior to his designation as Senior Advocate.
