Akash is a graduate in Economics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He takes a great interest in all the social sciences, and is particularly excited to be able to explore the many different ways to model and predict human behaviour that the study of the liberal arts in general and economics in particular enables academics and students to do. Among other things, he takes a keen interest in keeping abreast of happenings around the world, particularly those that have to do with the world economy. When he is not reading (which he is, most of the time, whether it’s the New York Times or a worn-out paperback), Akash is catching up on his favourite show, The Simpsons, which he still has not been able to finish.
