Akshay’s interests were shaped at Navodaya Vidyalaya. He is an Engineer with diverse reading choices from J.K. Rowling to Dr Ambedkar. He loves heritage walks and is always ready to listen to myths and folk stories associated with them. He worked for an Ed-Tech start-up. He attempts to express his views on various issues by writing short stories. He also likes painting, cooking and singing. He aspires to get involved in India’s education sector, social justice and foreign policy. He believes inter-sectional disabilities can be recognized and resolved only through an inter-sectional thought process. This drive towards a multidisciplinary quest motivated him to choose the YIF.
