Akshita is based out of Delhi but her schooling at the Auckland House in Shimla made her a mountain girl forever. She is an artist, a soprano singer, a licensed scuba diver, and a digital artist. She focuses on the subconscious and tries to bring it out in art and poetry.
After her school days, she did a sojourn into fashion design but later mended her way back to art when she took Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Amity University Noida. She spent the next 4 years exploring art with psychology to mainstream a culture of kindness. During the summer gaps, she worked with IIT Delhi, Tarkeybein Education Foundation, and Moved By Love. In her senior year, she joined ServiceSpace as a Laddership Fellow – a leadership programme with a focus on inner transformation. The experience furthered her interest in the intersectionality of psychology, philosophy, and arts, which motivated her to join the Young India Fellowship (YIF). She looks forward to YIF as an amazing potpourri of Indian imagination with a diversity of humans, thoughts, and actions. She hopes to expand her knowledge horizons and spread her love for learning.
