Alain Bifani

Alain Bifani is a senior financial and economic policy expert with over two decades of experience in public finance, financial reform, and international economic affairs. He served as Director General of Lebanon’s Ministry of Finance from 2000 to 2020, where he played a key role in financial reform, tax transparency, and international engagement. He has served as Lebanon’s alternate governor at the World Bank and other international development institutions and chaired the G24 three times. He is currently President of the Lebanese Citizen Foundation, Managing Partner of SCPA Conseil, and a member of the Trilateral Commission.
