Aliya is a jack of many trades. From an urban sketching artist and basketball player to a colourful raconteur, she has a bubbling, infectious energy. She has lived in different cities and is avidly interested in learning about cultures and lost stories. One can expect abandoned heritage sites in Sonepat and Delhi to be on her list to explore. This is why Aliya has set out to seek stories amidst strangers in a distant land in hopes of finding a home in the YIF. During her UG, she was the elected President of the Students’ Union, Stella Maris College and the General Secretary of the Debate and Quizzing Society, where she developed her love for socializing, sarees, culturals and more. Through the multidisciplinary approach at the YIF, Aliya hopes to explore various fields and hone her critical and analytical thinking skills. In the process, she aims to find her niche interest as well.
