Aloke Bajpai is the Co-founder, CMD and Group CEO of ixigo (Le Travenues Technology Limited), India’s leading travel tech platform serving over half a billion travellers annually across flights, trains, buses and hotels through its ixigo, ConfirmTkt and AbhiBus apps. Launched in 2007, ixigo has evolved into a publicly listed consumer tech company focused on building the best customer experience for travelers with AI.
An alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and INSEAD, Aloke started his career at Amadeus IT Group in France before returning to India to build ixigo. IIT Kanpur honoured him with the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2022 and he currently serves on the Governing Council of Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and as an anchor member of Startup Policy Forum (SPF).
Aloke is passionate about entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, consumer internet and travel, and is an active mentor and angel investor in several startups.
