Amitava Chattopadhyay is Professor of Marketing and the GlaxoSmithKline Chaired Professor of Corporate Innovation at INSEAD. An internationally recognised expert in branding, innovation and marketing strategy, his research has been published in leading academic journals and has contributed significantly to the understanding of consumer behaviour and business strategy.
He is also the co-author of The New Emerging Market Multinationals: Four Strategies for Disrupting Markets and Building Brands, an award-winning book that explores how companies from emerging markets can challenge established global players and build powerful brands.
With extensive experience teaching and advising leaders across Europe, the Americas, Asia, Australia and Africa, Professor Chattopadhyay brings a global perspective to the intersections of branding, innovation and growth. He holds a PhD from the University of Florida, a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, and a BSc (Honours) from Jadavpur University.
