Anamitra is an engineer and a multitasker. While working primarily in cross-functional business roles, he has built, trained and led a team of interns and full-time employees in his organisation. He has worked extensively with organisational leadership in strategising partnerships and alliances, expansion and market entry, engaging community development structures, demand generation and brand management.
Apart from his regular professional activities, Anamitra is a passionate public speaker and has delivered talks on entrepreneurship, social media and photography, branding and leadership at premier institutes like IIT, MDI, IISER, St. Xavier’s College. He has judged various B-Plan competitions, including the Ashoka on-campus round of the prestigious Hult Prize and has been invited to deliver talks for Josh Talks and Headstart.
Anamitra is a published photographer (Soulcity: Inside stories from Calcutta) and an occasional blogger. His works have been exhibited at the Kolkata International Photo Festival. He is a regular audience at rock concerts across the country. He evangelises “Calcutta as an emotion and not just a city”, and is always up for long chats on music, art, startups, brands and travel. Through the Young India Fellowship, he seeks his ‘ikigai’.
