I am originally from Malda Town, West Bengal, and have been captivated by space and celestial phenomena from a young age. This deep-seated curiosity inspired my academic journey, leading me to pursue an undergraduate degree in Physics from RKMV Centenary College, Rahara. I was then fortunate to be part of the inaugural batch of the SPPU-IUCAA joint master’s program in Physics and Astrophysics. I am deeply intrigued by the fundamental questions surrounding the universe and our existence within it. This fascination has driven me to pursue doctoral studies at Ashoka University, where I am working under the guidance of Prof. Somak Raychaudhuri in the field of galactic dynamics and cosmology. Beyond my academic pursuits, I find joy in spending hours under clear, starry skies, indulging in astrophotography to capture the beauty of the cosmos. I have a deep appreciation for classical music and enjoy engaging in games like chess, table tennis, and cricket etc. Additionally, I love embarking on trips to explore new places and experience the wonders of the world.
