Anita Manwani Bhagat is the founder and CEO of Carobar Business Solutions, a data analytics software company providing solutions for test labs based in California. She has over 20 years of experience in the software industry, and has worked in executive positions in startups and established organisations such as NASA Ames Research Center, Hewlett Packard, and Agilent Technologies.
In 2011, Anita was recognised as one of the top 100 Women of Influence in the Silicon Valley. She is also an American Leadership Forum senior fellow. She is deeply committed to education, job creation, and empowering women. She presently serves on the board of trustees at Woodrow Wilson Graduate School of Teaching and Learning (venture with MIT), Ashoka University, and Bay Area’s Workforce investment board.
Anita received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemistry, history and marketing management from Mumbai University. She earned a PhD from the University of Cincinnati.
