Ankita Rathore works with Global Research Alliances at Ashoka University, where she develops and manages global research partnerships, leads the Meetings and Workshops Programme, and identifies philanthropic and strategic funding opportunities that connect India’s research priorities with international agendas. Her work sits at the intersection of institutional strategy, science diplomacy, and stakeholder engagement, translating relationships into programmes and programmes into impact.

Trained in Biomedical Sciences and Toxicology, Ankita completed her PhD in Science and Technology Communication from the National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (CSIR–NIScPR), New Delhi. Before joining Ashoka, she served as Associate Director at IndiaBioscience, where she led the science communication and skill-building portfolios, designing and managing programmes that strengthened research communities and supported capacity building across India’s life sciences ecosystem. Her professional experience spans academia, industry, and the non-profit sector, with roles in research, regulatory toxicology, science communication, and research management. Her interests include science diplomacy, research management, science communication, and building collaborative ecosystems that advance research and innovation.
