Anushka believes that being on the path of growth and learning is essential. Her interests lie in the hospitality industry and she has a long-term goal of building 100% sustainable eco-resorts. She hopes to open a chain of hotels inspired by the concepts of ‘glocalisation’, sustainability, wellness tourism, inclusivity and safe working environments.
Anushka is also interested in Human Resources and is currently exploring the fields of talent acquisition, HR technology and HR analytics. She is of the opinion that any business can be successful if the correct talent is identified as well as retained and is thus learning more about the same.
Anushka practices yoga, is an avid reader and an enthusiastic gardener. She finds herself researching and reading extensively about Partition Studies, Nazi Germany and the various traditions and cultures of the world. She calls the upcoming year at the Young India Fellowship as “The year of learning, unlearning and relearning” and she hopes to gain a broadened sense of perspective that will help her think from a different angle.
