Aparajitha holds an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Calgary in Canada. A graduate of the Seagull School of Publishing, she has worked at her family’s independent bookstore for over 10 years and is passionate about everything art, culture and literature have to offer. Every year she looks forward to organizing the Bengaluru Poetry Festival, a not-for-profit festival open to the public. Through the YIF she hopes to learn more about finance, economics and leadership- skills she will need to keep a physical bookstore and its community thriving in the modern age.
