Ashoka University

Aparna Babbar is a seasoned career development and training professional with over a decade of experience across placements, student engagement, operations, strategy, and institutional growth. She graduated from Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi, holds a postgraduate degree in Commerce, and is a diploma holder in International Business.

Early in her career, she was part of Admissions, Branding, and Marketing teams, where she spearheaded initiatives focused on growth, strategy, and expansion. Over the years, she has built extensive expertise in career services, programme management, student engagement, and stakeholder coordination.

Prior to joining Ashoka University, she worked with Management institutes like IIPM, Engineering colleges affiliated to Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal.  and IP University (New Delhi), and Hughes (center) supporting executive education programmes associated with IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Kozhikode, XLRI and IIFT.

She has been a part of the Ashoka University community for over four years and currently leads key operations and student engagement initiatives within the Career Development Office. She works closely with students to curate meaningful learning and career-preparation pathways, while also contributing to alumni outreach and engagement.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, She enjoys being a learner herself and can often be found attending sessions at Ashoka—particularly those centred around negotiation, critical thinking, and discussions hosted by the Economics and Finance and Entrepreneurship departments.
