Arushi Lohani

YIF Class of 2021

B.Des Information Arts and Information Design Practices
Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology

Hailing from a humanities background, Arushi Lohani is a 2018 year graduate from Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology, Bangalore. She specialised in information arts and information design which focuses on cognitive, research and skill-based tools to navigate and communicate information. Post college, she entered the world of advertising and spent a year and a half there before getting into the food and beverage industry. She has deep interest in marketing and brand strategy. While keeping her interests alive, she does not ignore where her heart lies – to begin her journey in the social development sector and create a meaningful impact upon the ongoing women’s movement in the country. This motivated her to choose the Young India Fellowship. Since early days of her school, she has volunteered her time in NGOs such as Prayaas and Tamnna School. By the end of the Fellowship, Arushi wishes to bridge the gap between her skills that she has harvested through her experiences and her true passion. Apart from this, she enjoys yoga and pilates. She is spontaneous, a big foodie and a complete movie buff. She is eager to learn, listen and experience what the world has to offer!
