Ashish Gupta is a co-founder of Helion Ventures and serves on several boards including Pubmatic, Simplilearn, Gupshup, Workspot, Infoedge (Naukri) and Hindustan Unilever.
Ashish has co-founded two successful companies – Tavant Technologies and Junglee. He has also worked at Woodside Fund, Oracle Corporation and IBM research. Some of his past investments include Daksh (IBM), Infoedge (Naukri), MakeMyTrip, MuSigma, Upwork, Redbus and Flipkart (Walmart).
Ashish is a Kauffman Fellow, holds a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University, and a bachelor’s degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur where he was awarded the President’s Gold medal and the Distinguished Alumnus Award. He has authored several patents, publications and a book by MIT press.
