Bidisha completed her schooling at The Asian School, Dehradun (2013) before going on to pursue her BA in History from Ramjas College, University of Delhi (2016) and MA in Medieval History from the Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (2018). Her research interest lies in studying the histories of early modern South Asian politics, society, and culture. Her research focuses on the nature of Mughal polity and the role of cultural factors in the consolidation of early modern Bengal. Besides this, her interest also lies in studying the process of integration of Bengal into a larger Mughal Persianate world and examining how far this was accomplished vis-à-vis cultural, social, and religious changes.
