Catherine Gomes is a Ph.D. scholar in the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences at Ashoka University. She holds an M.Sc. in Neuropsychology from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, a Postgraduate Diploma in Neuroscience-Informed Counselling and Wellness, and is qualified in both UGC-NET and GATE. Her clinical and research experience spans hospital settings and research and development within the EdTech sector, where she has contributed to the design of assessment and intervention frameworks and the development of digital cognitive tools grounded in neuropsychological research. She has worked extensively with neurodivergent populations, including individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Intellectual Disability. Her research interests lie at the intersection of developmental cognitive neuroscience, educational neuroscience, psychometrics, and technology. She is particularly interested in developing engaging, scalable, and evidence-based digital tools that support cognitive, social-emotional, and educational outcomes for neurodivergent individuals. Drawing from both clinical practice and product development, Catherine aims to bridge research and real-world impact by translating advances in neuroscience into accessible solutions that enhance learning, well-being, and human potential.
