Chinmoy Saikia has a master’s degree in English from the University of Hyderabad and has recently submitted his MPhil dissertation at the University of Delhi. His current research interests include literary aesthetics, book history, and the global anglophone. Before joining the UWP, he had taught undergraduate subjects at a number of institutes at the University of Delhi. Outside of academics he also attempts to write ‘creatively’ and was awarded the South Asia Speaks literary fellowship in 2021.
