Chip Kaye is the Chief Executive Founder of Warburg Pincus. His career started in 1986 and for the past two decades he has led the firm as CEO. Chip led Warburg Pincus’ entry into Asia in 1994, becoming one of the first global private equity firms to enter the region.

He has continued the firm’s long-standing reputation as a growth investor, establishing Warburg Pincus as a strong partner for management teams at all stages of development, across industries and geographies.

Chip is Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Private Equity Taskforce of the Sustainable Markets Initiative. He is a graduate of University of Texas at Austin.
