Born and brought up in Shimla, Devica admired how small designs and ideas came from everywhere and everyone. As she ventured into design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi, she got the opportunity to work with the Indian artisans at the grass-root level. She realized how designs were democratic, but not everyone had the skill or exposure to share their creativity on the global stage. She applied to the Fashion Institute of Technology and spent a year in New York, learning the marketing strategies that globally renowned brands leverage to reach customers. She strives to use the power of digital marketing to make a positive impact in the fashion industry.
