Dibyangee Saha

ICT Instructor, Undergraduate Writing Programme, Ashoka University

Having completed her Masters in Literature from Jadavpur University, Dibyangee pursued the Young India Fellowship, a postgraduate diploma in Liberal Studies. Her academic interest lies at the intersection of gender, migration, and the postcolonial experience. She wrote her MA dissertation on “The Tactile and the Temporal in Postcolonial Urbanism: Reconstructing Cultural Consciousness through the Material Memory of Mumbai”.

In her ICT class, Dibyangee hopes to inculcate within her students the practice of using language as a critical tool. Her course talks about stigma, memory, and touch, where she encourages students to think of ways to decenter the normative.
