Disha is a girl who is interested in jumping down park slides as well as helping plant saplings in the park. As the years passed by, her adventurous streak grew and so did her compassion for people around her. She developed an interest in NCC since school and subsequently into joining the esteemed forces. The Young India Fellowship came her way amidst this and piqued her interest because of the diversity and the variety of ideas and learnings that the programme had to offer.
She loves to spend her time reading books, play with her pug, go for cycling trips and play the keyboard. On quiet days, she can be seen sitting in a corner solving a Sudoku or penning down her thoughts in a journal. She loves to socialise with humans and dogs alike and can be identified by the loudest laugh in the room. Apart from engaging in lame jokes, her interests lie in topics like the defence forces, India’s freedom fighters, economics, the education system and any and every open conversation.
