Elorika

YIF Class of 2021

B.A. Economics
Miranda House, University of Delhi

Elorika always wanted to be a changemaker and it was during her engagement with the Rotaract club and the Sawasti NGO when she found her true calling. She aspires to work towards alleviating poverty and hopes that, through this, she can help people below the poverty line. Her quest for learning, understanding, exploration, and new experiences brings her to the Young India Fellowship (YIF). YIF to her is like a lavish buffet where she can have anything and everything she wants or desires on her plate. Generally quiet and observant, like any mountain person, she is an introvert at heart but is hoping that YIF will help her come out of her shell. Her not-so-guilty pleasure includes binge watching movies and TV series. She is a foodie and also likes to cook occasionally. She wants to travel the world. She loves gazing at the changing palette of skies when the sun sets and believes that there’s magic there. Walking is her go-to therapy – a time to process her thoughts and gain perspective. Fueled with coffee, she won’t rest until she has made the world a better place.
