Belonging to the picturesque Meghalaya, Emirilda has never shied away from expressing her frustration with the ‘clientelism’ system that exists in her state. She is very ambitious about bringing in economic and political change in the functioning of her state. But this would mean spending most part of her career in Shillong, which she isn’t so fond of. Additionally, she wants to explore her other interests; human security and international security. She hopes to graduate with a clearer understanding of her life post YIF. She also wants to overcome her over-thinking habit and be content with letting her life go with the flow.
