Eshani hails from Assam and holds a master’s degree in Korean Studies from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. As an enthusiast and researcher of Hallyu, Korean art and society, she developed an interest in understanding the complexities of popular cultures and fandoms. She has been invited by the Korean Foundation to participate in the 2023 field trip to Korea. Additionally, she volunteers during her free time, is a trained Bharatnatyam and Bihu dancer, is a voracious reader, and weaves her emotions for nature through poetry. Through the YIF, she hopes to challenge herself and find common ground by incorporating her passions.
