YIF Class of 2021
B.A. (Honours) SociologyGayatri believes that inspiration exists in everything you surround yourself with. For her, the power of words and their impact overarches every aspect of one’s life, as they crystallize into multiple forms, be it poetry, music, or conversations. Her desire to learn and sincerity to excel in whatever she does often pushes her to go beyond the conventional and that’s what brings her to the Young India Fellowship (YIF).
She’s worked with organisations such as Child Rights and You as a Child Rights Leader. She has also served as the Senior Editor for her college magazine. She has explored a good deal in the field of communication and marketing. Her interests include dancing and participating in discussions and debates.
Her degree in Sociology has taken her beyond the academic purpose of just the subject itself and brought about personal change in understanding the multiple versions of realities and navigating through them. She writes this story with 200 others, all of whom would end up shaping her perspective and help her embrace changes in life.
