Hanish has always been drawn towards the liberal arts as it is responsive to lived realities and present conditions. Hence, the multifaceted approach of the Young India Fellowship urged him to pursue the same at Ashoka. He seeks to hone all relevant skills, explore new avenues and capitalise on the bounties of a liberal arts education so as to be career and future ready. He hopes that the fellows and himself can aid in imparting similar education to the quantum of the Indian youth in the near future.
He is immensely interested in organic farming, performing arts, traveling, Trans-person rights, pan-Indian language education and Indian textiles and handicrafts. In the near future, Hanish sees himself as an urban farmer, an entrepreneur and a proponent of the Bharathanrityam dance form.
In terms of his career aspect, he seeks guidance to navigate the corporate and entrepreneurial world and is determined to impact his environment in sustainable and empowering ways. One of his cherished dreams is to set up a chain of stores that deal with authentic, vegan, and healthy Indian sweets and savories. Hanish can be a hungry person. A well fed Hanish is a happy Hanish!
