Harshbeena Zaveri is the vice chairman and managing director of NRB Bearings Limited. Under Harshbeena’s leadership, NRB Bearings Limited was selected as one of Asia’s best 200 companies under US $1 billion in the year 2007. She has spearheaded NRB’s foray into design engineering and set up an R&D centre, enabling NRB to become a supplier to the world’s foremost automotive and mobility companies, including global leaders, Daimler, Audi, Volvo-Renault, Hyundai, Mazda and Honda.
Harshbeena has served on the boards of various leading companies, and is the chairman of the board at SNL Bearings. She is also the former president of the Ball & Roller Bearings Manufacturer’s Association, a governing council member of the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce, governing board member of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, and the EU Chamber of Commerce. She serves as the chair for various CII committees, including the CII National Manufacturing, Capital Goods, Leadership & HR committees.
Harshbeena has been recognised as one of the ‘Most Powerful Women Leaders in India’ by Fortune India, since 2012, to date. Business Today, Business World, and India Today have named her amongst the Most Powerful Women in Business. Passionate about empowering youth though education, she dedicates considerable time to this endeavour. An active member of the Wellesley Business Leadership Council, Harshbeena is engaged in enabling diversity in academia and business.
She graduated with a freshman distinction as a Wellesley Scholar with Honours from Wellesley College. She is also a member of the Wellesley Business Leadership Council, a council comprising of the most prominent and globally recognised graduates of Wellesley.
