Harshita Goel

YIF Class of 2021

B.A. (Honours) Political Science
Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi

Harshita believes that no learning would ever be complete without having a real world experience, and so after college, she spent a year working across the development and policy space – to find what she likes and dislikes. She can best be described as a jack of all trades (a generalist, if you may), for her skills, abilities, and interests refuse to be restricted by the norms of “specialisation”. True to her nature, she has dabbled in varied interests – learning Spanish, writing for The Hindu, working at a non-profit for India’s women in the informal economy, and most recently, finding her flow at a social enterprise working on social impact partnerships. It’s hardly surprising, hence, that she finds herself at the Young India Fellowship, motivated to push her boundaries yet again and discover herself in more ways than ever before. She looks forward to the year ahead with excitement for the space it offers to simply be curious, be original, and be herself.
