Harshita was born and raised in a small town of Haryana. The inferiority complex of being from a rural environment always became a hurdle in her way of fitting in the English-speaking world. But owing to her habit of never giving up, she found her place in writing which gave her certain confidence and a sense of belonging. She worked with gender equality societies during college. She majored in Economics, and her field of interest is socio-economic issues and development economics. She also has a keen interest in global political economics. Working on the ground and contributing to the process of development is her passion.
