Harshitha loves launching into tumultuous deliberations of the world around and within her any chance she gets. Her passion lies in navigating the complexities of social structures and hierarchies to strive towards inclusion and equity. She hopes to find her unique spot at the intersection of social development, governance and public policy.
There she donned several hats as a coding club contributor, an event manager, and a software developer intern at Visa Inc. However, her initiation to ground realities of social development through direct service initiatives on campus and through NGOs like Voice4Girls that empower adolescent girls, remain her greatest sources of inspiration. Following her yearning for public service, she went on to prepare for the civil services examination. Recognising the need to embrace diversity to develop sustainable, tailored solutions for all, she seeks to pursue a multi-disciplinarian education at the Young India Fellowship.
Although a complete novice at most things art, her enthusiasm would put even a golden retriever to shame! Apart from living vicariously through movies and books, she is constantly on the lookout for travel companions blessed with a great taste in music and sarcasm.
