HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company is a joint venture between Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (HDFC) and ERGO International AG; the primary insurance entity of the Munich Re Group of Germany. With complementary skill sets and strengths of both the companies, the JV formed in 2008, is among India’s top three general insurance companies in the private sector.
