Irfan is a PhD student in the Department of Physics at Ashoka University, working under the supervision of Dr. Amin A. Nizami. His research interests include Quantum Chaos, dynamics of Quantum Information in Quantum Many-body systems and Foundations of Quantum Mechanics. He hails from a small village of Kashmir called Panzala Gundbal. After obtaining a BSc in Physics (with Mathematics and Electronics) from Govt. Degree College, Baramulla (affiliated to University of Kashmir), he completed his Masters in Theoretical Physics from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Besides studying, he likes to go on long walks, play cricket, watch cats (both offline and online) and know about geopolitics.
