Ishan is an optimistic, ever-curious person who thrives off interaction and loves meeting new people of different cultures, ideologies and perspectives. A multipotentialite in every sense of the phrase, his experience is vast and spread across diverse fields.
Driven by an intense urge to know how the world works, from science to human psychology, he likes to make connections and juxtapositions between design, art, science, music. He thrives in this very space between fields, and is always trying to bring things together in new and different ways.
Writing is his strength. Be it a festival, an art project, or even a musical piece, his creative process often starts with writing. He is extremely passionate about music and listens to all genres from Hindustani classical music to the heaviest of metal and from jazz to the strangest electronica. He also composes music and can play a multitude of instruments. He has composed, arranged and performed music for several animated short films while at the National Institute of Design.
