The extension of Ishani’s aspirations is inversely proportional to that of her native. As soon as she stepped out of her small-town nimbus and witnessed life from closer than ever before, she soon fell out of love with the concept of “high grades + conventional career path = happy life”. Then it was the mundane curriculum at college that acted as a catalyst in growing her fascination towards art, literature, and all things creative.
She immersed herself in extracurricular activities and associated with the NSS and Women Development Cell, which all resulted in her acquiring the zeal to empower the community. The journey was followed by working at Josh Talks, where she witnessed that the power of sharing and collaboration with effective communication can bring tremendous change in the lives of many.
The biggest milestone of this evolutionary adventure for Ishani remains to be her becoming a part of the Young India Fellowship. By the end of this programme, she hopes to have obtained the vitality, wisdom, and all the things needed to lead a meaningful and gratifying personal and professional life.
