Ishika has taught in different capacities at various institutions including the National Law School of India University, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and the Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts.
Previously, she completed her masters in Postcolonial Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Her broader research work entails literary analysis, critical theory, political theory, ethics, and feminist philosophy.
As an ICT instructor, she envisions the classroom as a space for collective imagination and critique. Inculcating a practice of critical thinking in how students approach their everyday life is central to this pedagogic approach.
