Juhi Dhruva

YIF Class of 2023

BA (English Literature), Sophia College, Mumbai University

Juhi grew up in Gujarat, training to be a classical dancer alongside debating, calligraphy and other activities. She has always been passionate about language and arts, and at 18 moved to Mumbai to pursue a degree in language. Post her graduation, she spent 15 months working in the publishing industry. Her stint in Bombay as a dance teacher with an NGO made her realize her passion for teaching and working with young kids. She currently spends her weekends teaching young NRI kids Gujarati and Hindi. Her never-ending quest for knowledge and curiosity is what gets her to YIF. She aspires to work in the field of education and teaching post the fellowship. She is looking to take this year to explore and study subjects beyond a conventional education.
