Junaid’s research interest lies in the posthuman dynamics of space-age colonisation and its underlying colonial matrix of power. Junaid questions the markers of a decolonial metamorphosis in the Fourth Industrial revolution and attempts to decipher its notions of Cognitive Capitalism in the twentieth century postmodern fiction. Deciphering decolonial implications in postmodern–posthuman space-age colonisation in the works of Frank Herbert, Issac Asimov, Ursula le guin, Italo Calvino, Kim Stanley Robinson and myriad other Postmodern writers, Junaid’s theoretical perception underlines the work of Ihab Hassan, Rosi Bradotti, Nancy Katherine Hayles, Yann Moulier Boutang and Walter Mignolo.
