Dr. Jyothi S Menon is an engineer by training, and works in the field of environmental exposure focusing on air quality. She graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras in 2018 with a PhD in Environmental Engineering. Her fields of specialization include air pollution exposure assessment, characterization of atmospheric fine and ultrafine particles, source apportionment, and health risk assessment. She has experience in planning and conducting air quality monitoring campaigns and, handling sophisticated analytical as well as monitoring instruments. For the past few years she has been involved in studies assessing air pollution exposure and its effect on health. Going forward, Jyothi intends to pursue her research career in improving children’s environmental health.
