Having spent his elementary years in the United States, a middle school in the hinterlands of Odisha, and senior school years in the vibrant metropolitan city of New Delhi, Kaavye has grown up with a multicultural outlook on life. He graduated with a degree in Economics when he discovered his passion for quizzing and for knowing about everything there is. Ranging from one’s Fantasy Premier League transfers to how the government could have better handled the Covid-19 pandemic, Kaavye is up for a discussion on all things sport to all things policy and everything in between.
His experience interning at an international economic policy organisation made him realise just how far removed we are from ground realities. Bridging the gap that exists between myopic policies and truth about their implementation, he hopes to engage with diverse teams at the Young India Fellowship (YIF) in order to reach creative solutions to conventional problems. He believes that YIF’s multidisciplinary education will put him on track towards becoming a better-rounded individual, equipping him with the skills to make a lasting impact on society and the world.
