TARA, Transformative Action for Reformed Attitudes (YIF’18)

As the director of TARA, and a gender educator she curates and facilitates workshops, designs curricula and creates content for gender sensitisation.
She loves to engage with the youngsters in schools, colleges to talk about healthy relationships, consent, sexuality and loves challenging people to explore their unconscious biases.
Ultimately the passion for fighting gender disparity while having fun at it, translated into forming TARA. Transformative Action for Reformed Attitudes (TARA) Foundation revolutionises mindsets to bring forth behavioural and systemic changes for a gender equal world. We curate social designs (workshops, curricula and literature) for adolescents and youth to critically reflect on gendered societal pressures, unconscious biases, and develop an empathetic, empowering and inclusive personality. We engage with educational institutions through our holistic education programme, Astitva and with youth leaders in workspaces, Taleem, employing various mediums of drama, music, poetry, sports and conversation.
